FAP Turbo Update 26 th May 09
Following the last update I have had a few issues with the computer which has meant I did not get much trading time. I also had a problem with the version of MT4 from MBC Financial Services Ltd which kept crashing. I therefore decided to move to FXDD which allowed me to trade all 4 pairs using the FAP turbo Scalper strategy. I also set up the EuroUSD pair with the long term strategy. Deposit was $5000.00. Due to problems with the computer I only traded Thursday 28th May, between 8pm and one am. Profit was $124.00 over this period.
Owing to difficulties with the computer I have decided to stop trading FXDD also and from comments on the net I appears FXDD has been trading less often anyway due to generally higher spreads. I have investigated other brokers and the following are looking to be good options:
Alpari UK
Great spreads and has generally remained consistent over time.
GallantFX
GallantFX is an ECN broker that offers free EA hosting, has great spreads and allows Canadian accounts (even BC residents). Well, strictly speaking they’re not ECN, but they do offer Straight Through Processing of your trades. The only drawback is that they’re not an NFA member, but given the new NFA rules against hedging this may not be a bad thing.
Fast Brokers
They offer an ECN like broker for accounts over $10K and also offer free VPS hosting for your EA. Fast brokers fully supports scalping and their commission based professional feed has very low spreads . Although their are commissions the fact that the spread is low will ensure FAP Turbo scalping mode has a great many opportunities to trade.
Fast Brokers also offers free EA hosting if you trade 50 lots per month or more.
I will be testing Alpari UK next.

I know fastbrokers offers the Currenex ECN as well. If you are a pure manual scalper, check out the Currenex. They have a youtube video on this here.
